THE CLAYGROUND HAS BEEN SOLD.
Dear customers and friends of the Clayground Studio Ceramics was a cherished memory for current owners Linda and Melanie of The Clayground Studio; growing up spending summer days making ceramics with their grandmother. When the opportunity arose for the two to purchase their own studio they jumped at the opportunity. Melanie and Linda have now owned The Clayground Studio for almost 13 years and are now excited to announce that they will be passing the torch off to new hands. It is with heavy hearts that they say good-bye to their amazing clients and many friends they have made along the way but want to wish the best of luck to new owners Vickie and Kostas. You will see Melanie and Linda smiling faces around the studio over the next several months as they pass on their love for ceramics to new owners. We have asked Kostas and Vickie to share a few words as they take on as the new owners: Dear friends of the Clayground, First we would like to offer all the customers our best wishes as we go through this very difficult period for everyone. We hope that you and your loved ones stay safe. As a short introduction, we are originally from Greece and are blessed with two children, Chris (13) and Filippos (8). Over the last 15 years our work has taken us in many parts of the world where we have had the opportunity to work and befriend many peoples and cultures. Canada, Nova Scotia and Wolfville seems to be the perfect place for us and our children to make “home” and open the new chapter of our lives as we retired from our previous occupations. Coming here a year and a half ago, we instantly fell in love with the Clayground, its artistic nature, its approach to customer service and relations as well as with Linda and Melanie who have made it what it is today. As a result it is with great pleasure and humility that we will strive to continue the legacy that Linda and Melanie are leaving behind as they move to the next chapter of their lives. We are both hugely excited by the opportunity to further the success of the Clayground and continue offering all our customers the great experience they are accustomed to as they walk into our store. We would like to take this opportunity to let you know that the Clayground will be closed for the next several weeks for renovations. We will be in constant communication with you as to the progress and let you know where we stand. We are eagerly looking forward to meeting each and everyone of you in the near future.
